Ok Ladies and Gents! Counting down!

Ok all, I am now going to be seen 1 per week from here on out . And I get the privilage of 2 extra visits to L&D every week for NST's every week until these beauties are born <_< . Today's OB appt. was good. They will probably be checking me every visit <_< from now on so I have to be prepared. Time for hubby to do a little trimmin :blush: --sorry if TMI. Anyway, my belly is measuring the same as last visit due to both my girls laying head to head sideways across my belly. So the growth will probably be more accurate on U/S at this point now. Heart rates were Baby A at 150 and Baby B at 140.

I got the new partner OB today so she wasn't sure whether to check me or not. But my normal OB told her to because of the L&D trip to make sure there was no change. I'm still at 1 cm dialated, but I am starting to thin out, I'm at around 25% right now. But I know that this doesn't mean much to me since i had been dialated and thinning with all 3 of my kids and still went over due with all three. Knowing my body I will probably be in the L&D room being induced again--lol. So there has been a little change but I have been told to limit my activity, so no long walks in wal-mart or driving everywhere--lol. So what I am going to have to do is get the rest I need.

This week however is going to be kind of rough to get that rest though, my car started acting up so I have to take it to the shop in the morning (transmission) (this also being the only vehicle that seats more than 2 people)hubby can't because of work, i have to cancel Praise Practice from here on out, I have a dentist appt Thursday, and i have to call L&D on Friday about doing the NST's for this week and then start 2 times next week. All of this and then getting my daughter ready for daycare in the mornings. :blink:

I hope all the extra appointments go very smoothly. And at least you'll get to hear their heartbeats for a good long time at the NST's. I only get a few seconds at my bpp's. Sorry about your Praise Practice, it's hard to give up things that you like doing. But at least it'll only be for a couple of months. I hope you enjoy your slowed down lifestyle. I'm sure it'll get crazy after the twins arrive ( I'm assuming, cause mine aren't here yet either).

 

Ahh yes, gobs of appointments at the end! Glad to hear everything is going well!

 

Wow, thats alot of appointment to run to. I know some people like to see their dr.s alot....but I would prefer to go with out one?! I just enjoy the u/s' really.

Its hard to relax when you have other children and a life to attend to....but try to get your feet up a bit throughout the day.

it's so funny because i WISH my dr would schedule more frequent appointments (i went at 28 wks, then 32, and my next one will be at 35), just to be reassured, but at the same time it's been reassuring that he DOESNT want to see me, because it too means all is well...like you said, i just like the u/s LOL but i only have 1 more before i get my c/s scheduled and see them in person!
