Yes my friends, after FOUR MONTHS of army crawling and butt spinning, my son has finally learned to crawl on hands and knees. And what a beautiful sight it is to behold! It's super slow and usually involves some whining, but he's DOING IT and just looks like a little angel when he does it! I was really starting to think he'd be in kindergarten before he learned to crawl. I think having my boys take sooooo long to do things makes it that much sweeter when they finally get it. I'm just so proud of my little man :D . Thanks for reading.

Your little guys are so cute! Love your avi pic too...was that Galveston? We just went last weekend and it was the prettiest I had ever seen it! The water was so calm.

ETA: Ooops. Nevermind! I just checked out your blog (very cute btw) and saw it was taken in Corpus.

Stop messin' with your momma, dude. :D

Kevan is also finally crawling on hands and knees, although he still prefers to army crawl about 75% of the time. At this point I'm just glad he can do it, even though he doesn't want to!

I do think it makes it a little sweeter. At least I felt that way when they took till 17 & 18 mos. to walk. I do think that I would be equally as proud if they did it SUPER early, too!!

That is wonderful news, I know you were so worried. Maybe that means there is still hope for Max, who is STILL scooting around on his butt!

Yay Caleb! Don't feel too bad about him taking his time. My Dani has just started to crawl too, after army crawling for a month or so. Having her do trunk stabilization exercises on a ball with EI really helped.

    YAY CALEB!!!

As for "taking his time" my boys didn't crawl until 3 days before their first birthday. They didn't army crawl, roll, scoot, or ANYTHING. They were just lumps...ahhh, how I wish for those days again ;)

Thank you ladies for sharing in my excitement! I can already see such a deifference in his disposition now that he can finally do what brother's doing. It's been so cute to watch them both try to crawl through the door of their L&L house.

I know exactly what you mean! The post probably should have read 'Caleb is capable of crawling' :D . Braxton was exactly how Kevan sounds. He crawled one day for 4 steps then refused to do it again for weeks! I'm surprised that Caleb is actually utilizing his skill a little bit each day.
