Um, I guess the topic title says it all. I put him in the exersaucer so he couldn't get into trouble while I had a snack. Next thing I knew, he was leaning forward and he just somersaulted out of it. He's fine, he doesn't seem hurt or anything, but I had NO idea that babies could fall out of those things!!!!

When my first DS was about a year old or so, I remember having him in an exersaucer in my room while I was cleaning or doing something and my back was to him, and the next thing I know he's right next to me.. he climbed out! I used it to keep him out of things, and obviously at that point, it didnt work anymore

Wow, I never knew that either. I always figured it was a safe place to put them. Yikes!

Is your exersaucer maybe unbalanced? Most of them have adjustable legs -- maybe one leg was shorter than the others, so it could tip over a little bit?

Well, he continues to be fine. I guess I should have expected this of my little climber, but it still scared the crap out of me!!!

I won't be using the exersaucer to contain him anymore!!!
