The only feeling that has come close to my pelvis pain is when you are riding a horse and your pelvis bone hits the saddle really, really hard--that feeling! (BUT THAT GOES AWAY!!!) I feel like my girl parts are just BRUISED!

The past week it has been extremely difficult to get out my car after driving to work (45 minutes drive). I know I have a high tolerance for pain and that scares me because that means it really is painful, haha.

I know you guys feel me on this so just let me know that you do :) It seems to make the pain not so bad when you know other moms are suffering too.

It is getting so bad that yesterday I was trying to figure out when my last day at work is going to be- and I'm thinking December 4th (35 weeks) YIKES- if I can make it!!

i had the pains too around that time. try taking a tylenol til ur next doc visit, and talk with your doctor about the pains i dont know how extreme they are but ur bone may be separating very fast and it could make u immobile for a while. i think you should take off work now depending on how often and how bad the pains are! dont be afraid it is a part of pregnancy and and could be something to worry about or it could be your body crying for help that you may need to slow down on you activities. i was very active around that time and i ended up going into labor but they were able to stop my labor so really im not a doctor and every pregnancy is different please talk to your doctor call him before your appt if you need to!

Me too! It's worse when I lay on my side. The recliner is better for me at night with tons of pillows under and around me. I don't know much about making it better, let me know if you find out!!! I had this with my last pregnancy too (though much later in the pg) and it is miserable. I guess delivery is the only cure and I have a long time (I hope!) to go before that! Hang in there!!

hahaha. who would have thought 8 months ago we would be on a twinstuff message board talking about our pelvis pains.
I'm calling my doctor manana but until than I did some research and it sounds like we have...

    Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction

symptoms: "Any activity that involves lifting one leg at a time or parting the legs tends to be particularly painful. Lifting the leg to put on clothes, getting out of a car, bending over, sitting down or getting up, walking up stairs, standing on one leg, lifting heavy objects, and walking in general tend to be difficult at times. Many women report that moving or turning over in bed is especially excruciating."

Pretty much all we can do is get a belly belt to support our ever-growing bellies!

Considering bed rest doesn't help because sometimes laying down just makes it worse!!! AHHH!!

I'm still gonna go see the DR. and as much as I hate it get my lady parts checked out. ;) hahaha!

As I hobble around, the best image I can conjure up is one of a sledgehammer that just wacked me RIGHT IN THE FRONT OF THE HOO HOO - one great SLAM! Its AWFUL - I had it with my last pregnancy, but not this early.

    YOW! :icon_eek:

:rotflmbo: yes, the sladge hammer comparision sounds about right.

With last preg i dev a hernia in my groin from the wieght of my uterus at 27 wks, dr said this time i would get it earlier...i have been sore for a few weeks in my groin, and lifting a leg hurt like **** and so does rolling over as it did b4, but i assumed my hernia was coming back.

Maybe i am suffering from pubica bona biga splitta disfucta like described by vivalalexa!!! Ouch!!!

Ok I started out with the hip pain -- damn relaxin hormone doing a number on our hip ligaments. I felt it in my right hip and would almost freeze up when getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Had to brace myself so I wouldn't fall. I've heard chiropractic treatment but I found it has gotten better these past 4 weeks.

Ok NOW THE WOO WOO PAIN !!! Yeah if you think the hip pain is bad, the WOO WOO pain is worst !! Sledge hammer is right, very sharp pain and it made me cry many times and still does. This I've been told is the softening of the pubic bone.

So add these things to your list of things that will go away when the babies arrive.........

I am with you girls! It has been there since at least 20 weeks, but this last week has been awful- making walking so painful! And rolling over in bed- I dread doing it- or getting up to go to the bathroom!!! Tylenols is helping a bit, and I am wearing my belt- but man, I hope it lets up soon? Does this go away as soon as the babies are here???

This is too funny... my little girl (who is cradled in my pelvic region) has found the joys of kicking my bladder, my colon and just about anything she can get her feet and hands on. It feels SOOOOOOO weird. And I am sore! :pardon:

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah - my tailbone gets in on the splitting pain action too - just not daily, like the hips and hoo hoo. I had broken it once before, and Dr said that's why it hurts more than average during pregnancy. Again, it hurt with my last pregnancy, (and lets say it all together now) ..........."just not THIS FRIGGEN EARLY" (can you see the theme of my pregnancy????????????? [shr])

    AUGH!
