Okay I am knocking on wood so I don't jinx myself. We have been struggling with the kids and we had to lay with them in upwards of an hour or longer. Well I started last Thurs by just shutting their door and telling them good night. We Kelby cried and cried and was up for 1 1/2 that night crying. Last night my DH put them in their room (and he is the softy) he told them night night and we didn't hear another peep out of them. They went right to sleep. I was so shocked that I had to check on them a few times to make sure but they did it!! I am so excited. Is this a fluke or do you think it is working? this is how the sitter does it all the time so I know we were just getting played. Here is to mom and dad taking control over our 2 year olds  It feels good to be in control. It will probably work better than having 2 years old running things. But then again who knows....LOL Oh and they have been going potty in the toilet as well. Kaylee wears panties all day!!
WOW!! That's great!!! And GO KAYLEE!! WOO HOO!!! You are light years ahead of me on the potty, that's for sure!
I can't take the credit for the potty training. We have an awesome babysitter and she has worked and worked with them. It is nice because they are the only 2 there.
You mean I can pay someone to potty train my kids!?! That sounds like a great idea!! (I know that is NOT what you are doing, I'm kidding about that but serious that I would like to pay someone to do it for me!! )
Oh yes and it works out so nicely.....LMAO. You should try it!! LOL She is wonderful with them I can't pay her enough for all that she has done for me and my kids!!
That's awsome on both parts, the sleeping and the potty! I know how much you all were struggling with bedtime. I haven't even really started potty training, I am too lazy.

(I know that is NOT what you are doing, I'm kidding about that but serious that I would like to pay someone to do it for me!! ) That's totally what we're doing! They are way better about potty stuff at daycare than they are for us. I'm just waiting for them to get the hang of it at school, and then we'll do it at home! But anyway -- congrats on the great night! Let us know if it keeps up!
