Oh my Gosh... they climbed on the...

PIANO. I was cooking dinner and the kids were playing in the living room. I have removed all chairs because the kids are climbers. It got quiet, so i went to check. Axel is on top of the piano, fully on top, with IPod in 1 hand, cell phone in the other. Tait is on the keyboard section (the lid was down so it didn't make noise... they had pushed the toy chest across the room and climbed up.

I desperately wanted to take a picture, but felt it was best parenting to get them off the piano... good lord. these boys are going to be the death of me.

Ugh...the climbing. DS pulled his toy work bench over to the mantle at Christmas so he could climb up and get a closer look at the Santa figurines up there.

Thank goodness you were able to catch them before they fell.

 

I would have taken the picture too! that is so funny that they are so resourceful!!

 

I would have taken them down and then thought about the camera. They were determined to get up there!

Sounds like you and I have a lot in common! We dont have a piano, but my boys love to climb...ANYTHING & also love the cell phone. Cute story...

 

Lol. that is too funny. My boys are climbers to. As long as I don't see immediate danger, i would get a photo as I am telling them no..lol I have doggy steps for my two dogs, but the dogs don't use them, the boys do. They learned they can manuever them around to climb on the couch, chair, and to the window to climb up and look out. They also climb inside the toy box full of toys to climb up on anything they can reach in their room. We are in the middle of redoing their room, to make it less climbable..lol

That is too funny...isn't it crazy how smart they are to push things over!!! Mine use those ride on toys and push them over to get onto anything. I have had to take those away from them bc they are just too dangerous. Mitchell can pretty much climb anywhere he wants (I did share the one of him climbing ontop of the counter a while back). Its so scary how they can get themselves on top of things!!!
I think its so funny when I snap a pic of them doing something wrong, also bc its so hard not to laugh when you see where they have gotten themselves!!!
