OH MY GOODNESS!

I took my dad out tonight for Father's Day and my mom, son, and girls went along too. We rarely go out to eat and normally my girls do really well because for them it's a real treat just to get out of the house. Sarah was as good as gold, she sang and played the entire night. I think Allison was possessed. She screamed all the way to the restaurant (a forty minute drive). She was good for the first twenty minutes at the restaurant, and then fussed and boohoo'd the rest of the time there and didn't eat a thing. She then proceeded to scream the ENTIRE ride home--it was ear piercing, too. Sarah also decided that since Allison was mad anyway, she would make it worse by looking at her and singing to the top of her lungs. Needless to say, the entire night was just disappointing. My mom and dad rode with us so they got to experience the screaming too--but, of course, they just laughed it off. At one point my son looks at me and says, "I don't think I can hear anymore." Allison screamed the rest of the night until she went to bed. Then, acted as if she had been the best child in the world while in bed telling me good night and sleep tight and the whole bit. Go Figure!!!

 

I am soo sorry to hear about your night! I remember one time we were a couple states away and decided to head to our fav restaurant up there before heading home. It seemed like such a simple task, we do it all the time. Well, my children were absolutely horrible (it was me, my children and my closest friend). To this day my friend and I still talk about that night because it was soo out of character and soo torturous. It was years ago but still sticks in our minds like it was yesterday. The great news is it has never happened again, I hope the same will be true for you too! Don't give up on going out, the usual Allison will hopefully return from here on out!!
