My girls slept 11 hours last night AND they went to sleep without any crying!! I am so proud of them. What amazing babies I have. We have worked so hard at creating good sleep routines and even when the babies haven't wanted to stick to them we still just practice practice practice and I think it may be paying off! I just had to let you all know since I've posted all of my sleep struggles and questions - it's fun to share the good stuff too! Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Wow! That's great. How did you do it and how long has it taken? What is your sleep routine? I'm looking for inspiration, lol!

Oh that's wonderful Liesel!!!! Your consistency and patience is definetly paying off. Mine are sleeping about 8-9 hours now so I'm right behind you...though not in their crib yet. Enjoy your sleep and have sweet dreams!!

I am so happy for you. I know you have been struggling for a while with their bedtime routine. Please do share your secrets of how you got them to sleep that long.

    Hi,

Thanks guys. I don't have any secrets...I just did what everyone here told me to do. I worked on their morning nap first and then the rest of them. I always put them down in their crib for a nap. I swaddle them and give them a binkie (the binkie is new...they just started taking them) and I put on lullaby music. They have been falling asleep really well for naps for several weeks and I think that helps the night time. I just think since they practice falling asleep in their crib for every nap, the same way, the night time didn't seem so different anymore. As far as sleeping that long...who knows? I did give them their binkie a few times and they took that instead of eating so maybe they thought it wasn't worth waking up for a binkie? I don't know. During the day we follow a eat, play, sleep routine and they usually go back to bed after being up for only about an hour.

Last night I was able to sleep too! I didn't have to get up and pump. Who knows if this will continue but the past two nights have been fabulous.
