Tonight when we put the boys to bed, we got the joy of listening to them babble back & forth for quite some time. I was about ready to walk in there & tell them to GO TO BED, but they went to sleep on their own. They've never really done this, so I'm sure it's just the start of the fun to come. They've also gotten really bad about stealing each other's toys, only now they're REALIZING a toy was taken from them & are getting mad.

    The joys of twins!

(Aside from not going to sleep, it was quite cute hearing them 'talk' in their cribs tonight. Ever wonder what they're 'talking' about???)

Thats cute! Do they share a crib?

And its funny you said that about the toys, I dont know if mine are old enough to know what they're doing but over the weekend Maia took the rattle right out of Sofie's hand and the next day I had laid out all their toys between them and I went to pee and when I came back all the toys were on the other side of Maia and Sofie had nothing!

Oh yeah. My DD is usually very gentle and docile, but DS really pushed her over the edge the other day with the toy stealing, and she just smacked him in the face! (He had it coming, though. He's the worst toy thief. Whatever she's got, even if it is IDENTICAL to what he's got, is better.)

This is so going to happen to Ana some day soon. Meara is so sweet and either gets upset and looks at me (I try to stay out of it), or just finds something else to play with (that Ana then steals). But one day Meara will have had enough and then Ana is in for a surprise since Meara is much stronger.

To the OP, one of the best sounds in this house eminents from the nursery when we lay them down for naps... they 'talk' and giggle together and then lay down and fall asleep. I really need to get that on video because its just the sweetest sound ever!

my DS steals all my DD toys too. he won't let her have anything. he also goes after her face alot and i think he even went to smack her. she cries all the time because he is always going after her. so i have to sit in hte middle of them and he still just keeps on trying. so i must separate them if i have to do something. oh and they are in their own rooms in own crib so i don't really get to hear talking to each other or giggles...... :(

Very fun! The other day I caught mine playing together with/under the curtain that is right by their high chairs. They did this, giggling and shrieking for about 20 minutes. SO much fun!
