Officially off bedrest!

    Hi girls!

    I had another NST yesterday and my 35 week checkup! We have finally made it to the safe point, I'm now officially allowed to deliver at my local hospital. I got to fill out the pre-admit paperwork yesterday which was neat and we got a quick tour of the L&D.

    I am off bedrest and can stop taking my oral terbutaline. I've been on that every 4 hrs for 8 weeks so it will be interesting to see how my body reacts without it in my system. I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced so it could still be a while before I got into labor.

    In the meantime I'm enjoying my new freedom and trying to get my muscles and body back. We went to dinner and Babies R Us yesterday and my ankles got soooooo swollen and my legs felt like they were asleep! It's going to take some time, I know... But I'm just sooo happy to be up and moving around, even if I move slower than an elephant at this point! hahaha :yahoo:

    That is wonderful!!! I am so glad that you get an ounce of freedom before you have your twins. Enjoy it and hopefully you will get at least another week or two of that freedom!!!

    Congrats on making it this far, being off bedrest, and being able to go to your local hospital!!!! I made that goal today myself (going to the hospital of our choice)!! We are almost there!!

    Congrats- enjoy that freedom and get everything finished for the babies!!! That has got to be such a relief!!

    That's awesome April!! It will be neat to see if you go into labor before your C-section date!!! Keep up the good work and have a wonderful weekend!

    Congrats!!! :lol:
    Take it easy and enjoy. I hope all the aches and pains are easing up - I know I felt soooo very much better when I was able to move around again.
