Off to Mother's Day Out!

The girls are off to a Mother's Day out program tomorrow and I am excited and nervous at the same time. They will go every Thursday from 9am-3pm until June. I am so excited for them to play with other kids and gain some independence from me but nervous about how they will react being apart from me. I do work 2 days/week but my mom or my MIL comes to our house to watch them when I work so they are never in a strange environment.

Anyway, just wanted to express my excitement and nervousness about the day tomorrow. I have plans to go to Chapters and grab a Starbucks coffee and browse through the books and then meet a couple friends for lunch but I know I am going to have my cell phone close in hand all day just in case they need me!!

 

We started MDO for the first time too. Yesterday was there first day. They will go M/W from 9-1. They had a really good day. They were clingy at first (walking in), but luckily no tears and overall I think they really enjoyed it. It will be good for them.

:woo: for Mothers Day Out! How did it go?

 

It went really well! They didn't nap, but I didn't expect them too since they are so used to napping at home in their cribs, but they were fine. Went to bed easily last night and are napping now so all is good. I enjoyed my time by myself and really looked forward to picking them up at the end of the day, I think this is going to be a great thing for all three of us.
