I just want a second opinion on this. Eli has this spot, about the size of a quarter above his right ear, you can kind of see it in my avatar, but that pic was taken when they were just a few days old, they are 4 months now. I didn't notice the spot until recently. It is almost like skin with no pigment. At first I tought it was a bald spot from rubbing, but now that he is getting a little more hair, the skin is really white compared to the rest of his bald spots. Then I looked more closely, and there are are these little very fine WHITE or very blonde hairs. I'm afraid he's going to have a white patch of hair. Do you think it's going to change... is it just a mutation of some sort?

I got REEEAAAALLLY close to my computer screen and couldn't see what you are talking about! Maybe he rubbed it all out and it's coming in blonde? Emma had darker hair when she was born, now she's just got some blonde fuzz! [IMG]

It's probably a birthmark. It will fade in time and the hair will "stick out" less. My DH was born with a huge birthmark on the back of his head. He has auburn hair and then there is this big ginger patch. I think it's neat myself! Anyway, it's been shrinking steadily since he was born. You guy has such a little one that it will fade much sooner.
