ob update

well my cervix is soft still finger tip and she said for fun we would set a date for the section May 2nd. She said there is NOOOOO way I will make it to that date but it's a goal. She let me stay at work for another two weeks and said we would keep doing it that way as long as the babies held up to it. so over all I think things are as good as they can be for the moment at that is good enough for me.

 

wow i hope you make it to may 2nd. ive been debating about staying at work, do you mind me asking what type of work you do? sit down/standing/etc?

 

May 2nd will be here before you know it.

 

I sure hope so, I wish I had a crystal ball so then I could tell if I was going to make it through my sons surgery

We may have our babies on the same day :yahoo: (but I think we already knew that) my ob said May 2nd a long time ago, but we haven’t official scheduled it like you… I just have fears of having to go further because we didn’t official schedule and the Hospital is full… my Dr doesn’t think I will make it past my Cerclage removal (that will be the week of April 19th)… and he said he won’t stop it if Labor starts after they remove it…

When is your son's surgery scheduled for?

We may have our babies on the same day also. My dr and I discussed May 2nd and May 9th, so we will see. I hope you make it that long too. Good luck with that and your sons surgery.

 

Having an end in sight make the tough days so much easier! My boys arrived early, but ended up coming home from the NICU on our scheduled csection date (beginning of 37th week). Good for you for still working! You're one tough cookie! I was so miserable and sat on the couch all day!

 

Wow, ladies! I can't believe how close you are! How exciting!

 

It does just seem like yesterday that I wrote my first post on here and now we are heading to the end! I have told so many people about this site and how great it is.
