When did you start seeing your ob every week. Right now I see my peri only once a month, will I see her more often anytime soon. The peri is the only one that does my ultrasounds. I am not having any problems at all!!

i saw my ob at 15 and 23 weeks. i started seeing my peri at 17 weeks and saw her every week for u/s up until week 25, and this next appt was made for 2 weeks ahead instead of one. So really, i rarely see my ob at all.

I did monthly at my ob until 26 wks, then a 2 wk appt at 28 wks, and then weekly after that.

I first saw the peri at 21 wks, then 6 wks later at 27 wks, then monthly at 31 wks and my next appt is 35 wks.

I'm having fraternal twins that show no growth problems so I'm not seeing the peri very often. It really depends on your dr's and how your pregnancy is going.

I just started on my every 2 week visits with my OB (from my monthly visits).
I see my MFM Specialist every 4 weeks but after March, I start every week.

Both docs do ultrasounds but my OB just does a quick position, heartbeat, fluid level check.

I haven't had any major issues so far.

Did you see the peri so often b/c of problems or b/c you are carrying mono/di? I have my consult on Monday with the peri and am carrying mono/di.

We were supposed to only see the peri once our whole pregnancy - my OB automatically sends all patients with twins there for the level II ultrasound and the OB is equipped to handle growth ultrasounds after that. Unfortunately we ended up with some problems so now we're seeing the peri every week and the OB every 4 for the time being. We are expecting mono/di girls.

I think it just depends on how comfortable your OB is doing regular "well-being" ultrasounds on twins and how risky your pregnancy is.

I was told at 24 weeks I would start seeing my OB every week. Unfortunately I was admitted to the hospital on bedrest by that point... I never saw a peri until I started having complications.
