I am 17 weeks with a singleton and my twins were 2 in June. Before this pregnancy I was wearing a 36DD from Victoria Secret. I am needing to get some new bras because these are becoming a little small (cup, not around). What I wear now is a shaped cup with underwire. I really don't know if I should get nursing bras at this point and pray they don't grow anymore or just get some regular bras and wait to get nursing bras until after the birth. I didn't run into this when pregnant with the twins. I am assuming that like everything else, I wasn't as stretched out with them but this time around I just stretched easier. Anyway, I did just recently try on a playtex nursing bra at JC Penny. It was underwire, but not shaped cup. It fit fine, but I have to say that I would really like to get the shaped cup in nursing bras if they exist. Does anyone know if they do? I will most likely need a 36DD or larger. Any idea where to get that size? Basically I am facing a whole new situation this time around and just want to get some input. THANKS

I got up to a 36K. No, that was not a typo - I wish it was! They get expensive, but I could find them at www.figleaves.com. There are probably other places, but they had them and had a good selection. Kohl's and a few other places carry a small selection of up to DDD, normally Bali or Playtex. Happy shopping!

With my son I got up to an F cup.... I got bigger than that this time, not really sure how much bigger because no one around here had a size that big. I refuse to order a bra off of the internet. SOOO I had three F cups I could squeeze into.... I just went shopping at Lane Bryant and they had a good selection of DDD cups so I was able to find some that fit. (although not all of them fit.) I wonder if they fit differently because they are a plus size store. Who knows. I hope this helps..... Good luck. (LaLeche League should normally carries a listing of all the larger bra carriers in your local area.)

I would definitely get fitted before ordering online. You might be surprised at what size you actually are. Find a specialty shop. I go to one that has bras, nursing equipment, supplies for mastectomy patients, etc. Pretty much anything related to the ta-tas. :)

I am a 36J while nursing. I've found a good selection in bigger sizes here http://www.biggerbras.com/

I got so big that Motherhood didn't carry the bra I needed. I would also suggest an actual breastfeeding store, or online. I was fitted at Motherhood, so I knew what size I was, I just had to go online to get one because no one in my area (small town) carried what I needed.
