I am not sure if there is a thread for this or not, but I could not find one. I was wondering if ppl could post some photos of their nurseries? See when I originally set it up, it was for a single baby. Then now there are two, and we are going to be moving in the next few months, so I have to redesign it. And now I am not to sure if I like what I originally had. Since we don't know the sex yet, the base color was pastel yellow, and then there is pastel 4 inch wide stripes going up half the wall. Which was not easy to do at all. But I am not really sure if I like it anymore. And I don't want this to happen when we move. Once I do it in the new house, it is done. And since they are identical, I know they will be the same sex, just not sure which sex yet. Also, I know some ppl use only one crib for a little while, (I plan on using a pack and play for my room for the beginning, and we have one crib, but we bought it used. It is the old style solid oak, and I love it, but there is no way I can find another to match. So I wanted to know if you put them in one crib for a while or seperate right away. And should I sell the set I have now (crib, changing table, dresser, paid a total of $250 for it) so I can get two matching cribs? I think it would kind of look weird with 2 different ones. So many choices. :s little help please. I just want it all done and over with once we move, and since I am not sure if I really like it now, I don't want to go and do it all over again right before the babies are born.
You could get a crib is the same style and finish, but not exactly the same. That is a really good deal you got - so I don't think I would sell the stuff. If you are not sure about what color you want to do, you can just wait until you know the sex and in the meantime just look at different nurseries.

But the set is like 10 or 15 years old. It lasted the last person, through three pregnancies. And I love the oak and all, so I just fell in love with it.
Both of my cribs are the same color finish, but not matching. I was worried about how it would look, but I love the room. I would post a picture if I weren't so horrible with stuff like that. (If you'll notice, I don't even have a ticker!)
If your original crib that you plan on using is that old.....I would check it for safety!!!! Can a pop can fit through the slats? Are there raised corners (that clothes could get caught on? ETC, ETC, ETC

We have two different color cribs in our babies room and it looks fine. One is just a little darker than the other so we are using that for our boy and the lighter one for our girl. We will be cosleeping them at first in one crib, but I wanted it all ready for when they separate too.
We didn't worry about matching cribs/dressers for our twins. We had the crib from our oldest DD that we were going to use and got another one. It didn't bother me that they didn't match, plus we knew they would not share a room forever. We ended up moving them to their own rooms at 7 months, so I am glad I didn't go out and spend a lot of money on matching cribs for them.
