I have noticed now that since the time difference has occured and the sun is up at 6:30 am my girls are waking up with the sun....We are usually feeding at 5-530 am and they usually go back for another 3-3 1/2 hours, but i have noticed they are now getting up an hour after going back down....

Anyone think the amount of light coming into the nursery could have an effect on them getting up early?

It might be! I don't remember for sure when it happened but sometime between 3-4 mos my sweet sleeping babies who slept in till 8 -9 started decideding that that 5-6 am time was a good wake up time. It might just be that they are waking up more? Just my thoughts.

It could be! Maybe it's time to invest into some heavy drapery :D

I always had room darkening shades in their room when the kids were little.

Absolutely! I would get some curtains/shades that help to darken the room.

YES! We actually tacked a blanket over the window! Room darkening and white noise are necessities even now in our house.
