We are having two girls and this is what we've done so far

So cute!! That looks great! I love the names and the curtain. Pink and brown look great together. That is going to be such a cool nursery when you are finished.

I'm having a boy and a girl.... I'm struggling with coordinating colors and decorations. I'll post pictures in a few weeks when we have more done.

    This is a great post.

I haven't started on our nursery yet (it still is the boys's room) but have posted pics of the colour theme for the bedding I am having made by a talented lady on ebay.

    http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z188/na...ntrycolours.jpg

We have a green feature wall(similar to green prev posted) and cream walls. Furniture is timber and dark brown.

The main theme of the room is flyaway in pink and green , I am having made 2 cot quilts, 2 dust ruffles, 4 cushions, 2 toy swags, 2 rabbit dolls and 2 bumpers.

We intend to have wooden letter naming on the walls....if i can ever make up my mind what i will name the girls :itwins: !! And some butterfly art and mobiles in the room.

I found some lovely ideas on ababy, but of course they don't ship to australia. <_< ..so i found nadia on ebay who is custom making mine and shipping to me for free. :D

As we are keeping the sex of the girls a secret for a big surprise(EVERYONE in my family has boys and all think these are boys too) I will not be able to finish the nursery until after the girls are born. :(

Since we are SO short on money this time around- much of our things are homemade. I made letters for the girls to spell out their names, and my mom has made the bedding and curtains- and is working ont their quilts. here are a few pics of what is done so far :)

Because of the recommendations not to use soft crib bedding, I am not doing bedding sets, but I know a lot of people do. I did see that overstock.com has some great prices on bedding sets--some even under $50!

We didn't know what we were having, so we went with a neutral theme. We painted the walls a light apple green and went with the Malawi Bedding from Kids Line (at Babies R Us).
