Nursery help

I was doing my baby registery and decided I should pick a theme. DH and I have decided we like these three but can't choose between them. The animal one has lots of colors and is kinda busy but I'm drawn to it for some reason. I really like the star one but it is really on the expensive side. And then the circle one is kinda what I was originaly going to do because I can just get a few peices from the set and not have to spend the money on the blankets and stuff.

I would like to hear from you guys what you think? I really can't pick between them. I actually went and put all three on the registery.

I registered for the animal one too (Fisher Price Precious Planet) Actually, I choose both that one and the FP Rainforest set. They're both animals, and close enough colors that they'll go in the same room. So, the animal one would be my vote! But, both of the others are good too.

 

I definately like the circles one! Personally, I don't like things to be too matchy matchy...or too much of a theme. I like the simplicity and the fact that you can mix and match items from the set and things you come across...for a totally custom look without looking like you basically just placed an order and then put everything up. Just my two cents, but they are all cute. I'm assuming you are having boys?

OK, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the star one, but IMO it's just not worth it to spend a ton of money on the decorative bedding. So if it is totally ridiculous priced I would probably skip that one (unless you have someone who you think might buy it for you?!!)

Out of the other 2 I really like the circles one. You can buy a ton of inexpensive items to go along with (brown baskets/cubbies to put things in), plain colored extra sheets etc.
Plus I think it will have a longer life than the animals since it is a little more 'mature' looking?

I do love the animals for the cuteness factor though

Yes, two boys. Thats what I was thinking about all the matchy stuff until I saw the animal one (precious planet as someone mentioned). And when I look at the others I'm like ok I do like the circles and then I see it again and it just calls to me. I don't know why....

 

I like the star one, that is my first choice. :good: Second choice would be the circles.

 

I registered for an animal one as well, I looked at the one you have, but we ended up choosing another one. We went with the animal theme because we figured we cud use animals when they get a little older as well. I would go with the animals.

 

Ok here is my 2c
I don't liek the star one I think that kids room should be bright in colors I mean not the sunshine but the staff.
so I LOVE circle one. but I know some people just don't like the blue-ish a lot
and I LOVE the animal .
from the kids perspective I would choose animals. because twins will look around and bright colorful subject will catch there attantion
and I am sure they would love to look at the animals.

Again I already have nursery with jungle theme for my son and it will became nursery for twins so might be I am not objective in my mind.
Another thing what is the wall color in your nursery? If it's blue go with circle.
If it neutral like green - Animal

I am a long-time lurker who registered JUS to ask this question...who is the manufacturer of your circle bedding? It's very similar to what I have been looking for, but in pink!

I love the circle one too! I don't think I'd go w all the accessories but love the bedding!

 

i definitely like the animals one because its so bright and kids the lil ones somethin bright to look at! While the others are cute, they don't stand out as much.

 

i like the animal one best, looks like it would be lot of fun for baby to look at.
but i also like the star one.
good luck with so many nice choices it hard to pick.

It's on the wal mart website in pink and blue. It is also in the stores (at least where I live). It is by George and called uptown.

I like the animals! But I too did not choose expensive bedding it seems like a lot of money! Good luck on your decision.

 

The circles immediately caught my eye, cute!

 

Usually I love animals, but I have to say those circles are REALLY cute. That would be my vote - looks like you have a tough decision.

 

I like the circle one but not the comforter/quilt thing. I would go neutral and you would be so surprised with what little you need. We keep our diapers in a plastic drawer thing (the kids figured out by 5 months how to get the diapers out of anything else). Really, the only bedding they have now is their sheets and blankets (we went with vanilla colored b/c we have black cribs). I'm really glad we didn't spend a lot of money on their bedroom as we are hardly ever in there.
