i constantly get numbness on the top of my stomach, bottom of my chest. its really only on the right hand side.
i asked the nurse while i was at the doc yesterday and she said it was probably just positioning.

i just wanted to be sure. has anyone else had this?

I used to have areas that were numb to the touch too. Completely freaked me out but my doc too said sometimes it happens.

I had numbness at my belly button where one baby was really pressing on. Doc said it's just the baby pressing against the nerves causing numbness. It went away after giving birth.

I too have had the same exact feeling in the same exact place. I also asked my doctor and she mentioned that it could be the baby's positioning and maybe hitting nerves. Now the numbess is replaced with almost a bruised feeling because the baby's little feet are up there constantly kicking my in my ribs! uuuggghh Does not feel good!! :) Hope it gets better for you!!

I have numbness on the very top of my belly in the middle and below my belly button in the middle, I assume its from all the stretching my skin is going through.

I remember getting those numb feelings, too- right below my rib cage- at the very top of my belly. I think it's because of how stretched out my skin had become. It was more annoying than anything... Good luck!
