NT scan to do or not to do, that is the question. DH and I do not really want the results. All I want is a chance to see the babies again. I am 10.5 weeks now. If I do not do the NT scan, I will not see the babies again until 20 weeks! That seems like forever. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't do it. U/S at this point aren't as much fun as when you're further along, and you'll get plenty of those!!! Just be patient!

Stick with what you feel is best for you :)
Our NT was amazing for me & seeing everything in detail was unlike anything else.
It was a really long and detailed appointment whereas my regular ultrasounds were pretty quick & matter of fact.

I did one mostly because I wanted to see the babies and all the results were normal. I would go for it.

We did it, but wanted the results, and they were abnormal. If you don't want the results, I wouldn't do it.

Go with your heart and whatever you think you can handle. It will be a long time before you get to see them at 20 weeks. Don't you get to see them at your OB visits?
We did the scan and it was wonderful to see. The whole thing took 30-45 minutes, it was great and it was reassuring to see them.
Congratulations on your twin pregnancy! And best wishes to you and your family. :D

I wouldn't do it if you don't want to know the results. I've heard it's an amazing appt for many ppl, but I've opted out of it for every pg and I've never missed it.

If you don't want the results, I wouldn't do it. I had our's scheduled and wasn't really looking forward to it - so I talked to my OB and she said we could do a dating u/s in its place. So, we did that instead and then had the "big" u/s at 18 weeks. Many people have it done and get completely normal results - but some get abnormal results and that starts an entirely different ball rolling (to get or not to get an amnio, further u/s scans, genetic counseling, etc.). Do what you are comfortable with. :)
