I don't know what is wrong with me!! I finally got the boys to sleep through the night and was soo happy about that; but now I'm up all night long. It's like I want to take advantage of a little quiet time to read a book, take a long bath, get online or WHATEVER after everyone is in bed; but my "little quiet time" turns into hours and hours of up all night!!! Then I'm dragging my butt the next day...thinking to myself, "I have GOT to go to sleep tonite..." but when nightfall comes, if I do go to bed I just toss and turn until I get up and do something else...
Most nights (or should I say mornings) I don't crash until 3 or 4 in the morning...my body just won't let me sleep! AAAHH! And it's not like I get to sleep in the next day to make up for it...the babies are up at 6 to eat...then the 4 yr old...
Anyone else have this problem?? Anything help?

Are you against taking something? When the kids first started sleeping through, I was popping Tylenol PM. It helped me fall asleep, but isn't that strong that if they woke up I couldn't get up as well. But I think it's like I spent 3 months not sleeping very soundly, that I couldn't fully relax. My pedi also gave me a really mild sleeping pill (only lasts like 4 hours) to help me get to sleep. Even with that, I was still able to wake up if the kids cried.

I just posted about the same thing. Look up my last post on this topic- I got some great responses. Mine has worked itself out. It was like the more I thought about how I needed to sleep the more my mind focused on sleep and the less I could let go when I laid my head on the pillow. I just could not relax. Good news is that I have slept just fine the past two nights.

I knew this sounded familiar! :D

Here is Amy's recent thread and the responses to the same subject. I hope this helps. :hug99:
