[IMG] Hope everyone is doing well. It feels like forever since I have read or posted! During my 31 week, I had to make two trips to L & D for preterm contractions. I ended up spending most of last week in the hospital on Mag. But my doctor released me to come home last Saturday and stay on bedrest. I am 3 cm dilated, 50% effaced, -2 station. But I have been home a week today and haven't had any more ctx. My MIL is a retired nurse, so she flew in last sat. to live with us indefinitely until the boys arrive. She has been taking care of my dd and the house. Big help!

It is hard for me to find the motivation to come into the office and get on the computer, so I will probably be writing less frequently now. But I'll try to post when I can and keep you abreast of my "condition" [IMG].

I'm sorry to hear you had to be put on bedrest, but that is great news about getting help from your MIL! Hopefully the next few weeks will fly by for you... you only have about 3 weeks until 36 weeks, which is the average length for a twin pregnancy. Also, I read at 34 weeks you have a 99 percent chance there will be no problems, breathing etc, if the babies were to come then!

By the way, I don't know if I mentioned it before, but we are going with the name Jack, too! I love it! We're going with Jack Thomas.

Sorry to hear you're on bedrest Michelle. At least the ctx stopped for you. Hang in there! Just a few more weeks to go. I know it's easier said than done. 34 weeks for me seems like a lifetime away. Sending you prayers and positive thoughts! [IMG]

Sorry you are on bed rest. I truly hope that labor stays away for at least a few more weeks. Take care and know you are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about the bedrest! We have the same due date - 3/24 - except I am expecting girls. My obs have had me on 'modified' bedrest since week 26 - as a precaution. I haven't had any issues - like my peri told me yesterday my cervix is like the 'Prudential Rock'. Anyways - bedrest can be tough, and it is sometimes hard to give up control of your household. Hang in there - we are almost there!
It is a good sign that your contractions have stopped. I am sure the bedrest will help.
    Keep positive.

I was wondering what happened to my due date buddy!!

So sorry to hear about the L&D. That must have been a little frightening.

No sympathy here on the bedrest - sorry! [IMG] I just finished my 21st week of bedrest so you done good girl!

But am glad to hear the contractions have stopped. You take it easy now and let MIL do much of the work.

I posted a thread looking for you, I was nervous after your last post. I am sorry to hear about the hospitalization but glad to hear everything is stable! Please don't lose faith that you can still carry to term. I had similar measurements at 29 weeks and carried to 36 weeks with not a minute of NICU time.

Glad to hear you have some help! Does anyone have a laptop you could borrow so you could connect with us while laying down? I used to put the laptop on the coffee table, wheel the table right to the couch and type laying on my side. Please don't go into the office if it means breaking the bed rest! You are in our thoughts Michelle! We have missed you! I know you don't want to hear this but hang in there. You have done a great job so far and every single day is a milestone!

We've missed you and your absence was certainly noticable!!!! Glad to hear that you did not deliver, that was my biggest concern when we did not see you around.

And don't you DARE get up and sit in the office to come to TS (okay maybe once or twice is fine [IMG] ). Granted, we love you posting here, but you should be LYING down, only walking to the potty!!!!

But glad to hear that things are stable and that you are being looked after!!!
