Not wanting to get hopes up yet, but could this be them moving?

So, I haven't fel the 'butterfly' feeling AT ALL. But for several weeks I've felt either a few quick 'thumps' or twitching which I figured was my muscles.

Two days ago, sitting up leaning forward at work, I felt what felt like someone poking me (like the pillsbury dough boy poke) from what felt like the inside. I only felt this once, but could this be feeling the twins?

If so, how much longer until I can feel them more regularly? This is my first pregnancy ever.

I still have never felt the butterfly feeling, but I feel the thumping you are taking about..To me it feels more like bubbles popping or gas, but I feel it everyday several times a day and it gets stronger everyday. I did not start feeling it until about 21 weeks. That would be great if you are feeling them already...I know for me when I was not feeling them it was very scary...congratulations

I first felt them moving around 16 weeks, and i didn't feel the "butterfly" feeling that a lot of ppl describe. I was lying in bed and just felt a light thump or tap, like someone was flicking me from the inside. If i hadn't known i was pregant i probably would have just thought it was a muscle twitch. Then i spent a long time lying there thinking "do it again...." because i wasn't really sure what i was feeling. it happened like 3 times in about 20 mins so i decided i wasn't crazy, that i was feeling the babies move even tho it was earlier than most ppl report feeling fetal movement. :)

14w was around the time I started feeling mine more and more - by 18w I knew exactly what I was feeling. If this is your first pregnancy, it might take a little longer. But I would say that what you are feeling are babies!

It could definately be the babies! I felt mine for the first time for sure at 14-15 weeks, it actually felt like he was doing flips for like 15 minutes (turns out we had TTTS and he had no fluid, hence being able to feel so much) and only happened the once. But then I didn't feel them again until exactly 18 weeks and then it was every day after that.

    Could be!

Personally, I didn't feel any of my babes until closer to 19/20 weeks.

It could very well be them moving and grooving in there! I did not feel mine until I was about 20 weeks or so, but you will start to feel them more regularly! Enjoy it!

Definitely sounds like babies to me!! I felt mine really early but sporadically and now they are letting me know they are in there pretty regularly :) The poking thing --- wow, i'm so glad someone else mentioned that b/c i have actually yelped out loud on several occasions that Baby B does this! I thought my DH was really poking me! Basically my baby b doesn't like it too much if i bend forward in a sit-up motion and she lets me know by poking me like that! Also, she has kept me from yawning... All in all i love it b/c i know they are ok when i feel them.... enjoy it (later on it won't feel so fun!)haha
