    Hi everyone-

I'm more of a lurker but I am posting today because I need some advice from you all. I'm 33w5d preggers with b/g twins. I had my appt yesterday and just wasn't feeling well-nauseaus, headache. My urine showed trace protein and my BP was 138/80 which is the highest it has been. My MD sent me to L&D to be monitored and have labs drawn. the babies looked great, and got 8/8 on their BPP. But my labs came back as boderline Pre-e and I'm doing a 24 urine now, and will have labs drawn again today to see if there are any "abnormal" values. My mD said if they are abnormal we will talk about delivery this week. I know my platelets are down from 126 to 115, and I think she said my uric acid was elevated. This morning I woke up w/ a headache and had some caffiene & tylenol but I feel like it may be lingering. I've taken my BP and it was 118/74. I just dont feel good. I don't know if I should wait to see the results from the tests (which will be tomorrow) or go into L&D tonight for monitoring when I have to drop off my urine. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks so much!!!!

I'd just go ahead and go, or call your OB and see if (s)he thinks you should go. Better safe than sorry I say! I hope you are feeling better soon!

In a case like that, I would call your OB and just say, "Hey somethings off here." The day I delivered, I just didn't feel right. I think that you need to listen to your instincts and call. The worse thing that could happen is that you go in, and they send you home again. But having that peace of mind is so worth it!

Always go with your first mind. If you feel something could be wrong I would rather be safe than sorry. Call your doctor and get his/her suggestion. If you feel too bad just go to L&D that is what they are there for. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

Go get checked out NOW! Ok Ive been through this. Your platelets dropping is a sign of HELLP as well, which can go along with preeclampsia. CHeck out www.preeclampsia.org as well. Pree and HELLP can come on in a matter of hours, and can get really bad without you realizing. There are people whose bp can stay lower and still have worsening disease. Please Im begging you to go get checked out now...my prayers to you

Cassie already said what I would have. This is what happened to me when I delivered due to pre-e/hellp.
