Wyatt will be 4 months tommorrow and has not rolled over. Is this normal? I cannot remember when the twins rolled.

My girls didn't roll until nearly 6 months. My singleton didn't roll until 5 months. Totally normal!

One of mine didn't roll until he was closer to 5 mo old. I don't think you need to worry yet--I think I read somewhere that if they aren't rolling, or at least exhibiting very good head control by 6 months, that's a sign that there may be a delay. But I also read somewhere that some babies never really roll.

    Good luck!

My girls just turned 5 months. They are just now getting more into rolling. They still do not like to be on the floor for very long though.

Mine didn't roll consistently until between 4 and 5 months. If you are concerned though talk to your pedi at your 4 month appointment.

My boys just started rolling regularly within the last month (so, 6.5 months or so). They COULD roll at about 4.5 months, but just didn't do it much! They still (at 7+ months) don't often roll back to belly! All 3 of my kids have been at the slow end of milestones (my DD didn't walk until 15 months; it really doesn't matter a bit in the long run - she has friends that walked at 6 months, but you can't tell any difference once they are all toddlers... it all balances out!)

Our pedi says that many docs don't even look at rolling as a milestone anymore (because babies now sleep on their backs, and don't develop the same trunk muscles that they used to).

My oldest DS didn't roll (back to belly) until he started crawling (10 mos) b/c he needed to roll to get to his belly so he could get up on all 4 fours. He was just happy to lay on his back, lay on his belly, or sit - he had no interest in going anywhere by rolling.

My twin boys are 7.5 mos (6.5 mos adj) and have been rolling belly to back since they were 4ish mos - but they have only rolled back to belly 1 or 2 times - they, like my older DS, seem to not really be too interested in going anywhere. They are sitting independently, have great head/neck control, etc. They just aren't rollers.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've also heard that some babies never roll due to spending so much time on their backs now.
