Both of my LOs can roll from their tummy to their back and one has just recently started rolling from his back to his tummy (all the time!). Yet my other LO has stopped rolling at all, he doesn't even roll from his tummy to his back anymore. Is this normal?

How long has it been? I've noticed that with a lot of my boys' milestones that once they realize they can do something they stop practicing it. Right now Ryan has stopped babbling, I'm not worried yet but if he hasn't started again by his 9 month check up in 4 weeks I'll mention it to my ped.

Yep.. once they do it, it is often the case that it is old news and they are working towards the next milestone!

Both of my girls did this too. Don't worry, they will use it again to get to the next milestone and they will be rolling all over the place.

As soon as they master one thing, they are so busy learning the next thing that they often stop doing the other things they've already learned. It's perfectly normal and I'm sure he will start rolling again soon!

Holly, I am so glad you asked this question! As a matter of fact I was browsing forums before asking my questions, and this was one of them! Madison (baby b) rolled over from her belly to back around 4 1/2 - 5 months and at the time Carly couldn't do that. Well now, at 6 1/2 months, Carly is barrel-rolling and Madison gets ANGRY when I put her on her tummy. It's almost like she gets mad because she can't roll back over. She'll raise up on her elbows and/or hands and bring her feet up in the air but I can see frustration in her as she tries to roll over. I don't know, I'm going to mention it to her pedi, hopefully it's nothing to be worried about!

Ditto others, once they master a skill they often "forget it" while they work on mastering something. All of a sudden they'll do something new for you and then go back to doing some of the old stuff again, until they try for a new task! :p
