UGHHHHHH. I feel like a paranoid FREAK. I'm bad enough preggers with ONE baby, but now with two?!?!?!?!

Okay. Jacoby (Twin A) is moving less. He moved less earlier, discovered he has anterior placenta placement. He's bigger now, felt him move ALMOST as much as Gabriel (Twin B). But the last 24 hours, his movement has slowed down. He IS still moving, but LESS.

Gabriel ISN'T moving less. I know, they are two different people, BUT....does this mean anything? Would you call the office or go in?

Try not to worry about that! I go through days of minimal movement. I remember during my first twin pregnancy, there was a time, probably about where you are now, that for three days, I wasn't feelng much movement. I was feeling some, but not like 'normal.' I called the clinic and they had me come in. They did an ultrasound on me and found that the babies were facing each other, kicking each other! Even saw a kick and a response! That night, they turned again and I was feeling them like normal. If you are really concerned, make a phone call. They'd (doctors) would rather be safe than sorry. Express your concerns to them. Good luck!

I know what you mean. The movement changes for me sometimes from day to day. At one point, I was convinced that I wasn't feeling baby A at all and on the U/S, they were laying in positions I never would have imagined and both sets of feet were kicking me in the same spot and other times, the U/S will show A kicking B and then B kicks me. Little turkeys! If you are worried, it wouldn't hurt anything to call and let your OB know your worries. Maybe they could do a quick scan for reassurance.

They also go through periods where they rest more and kick less--like growth spurts! A few days later you'll notice them kicking the crap out of you!

I had similar concerns with my twins a few weeks ago. I went ahead and called my doctor just to easy my mind. I have really tried to be "calm" during this pregnancy- but I also don't want to be sorry that I had a "feeling" and didn't call on it if something ever did happen. They saw me right away, and both babies were just fine! Since then, when I have quiet times, I try to just wait it out a little and know that it is very possible one isn't moving as much and still is fine. I would do whatever makes your mind easier. That is what the doctors are for!

I agree with all the previous posts. It's probably nothing but I would call and let your doctor know, then he/she will decide what to do.

I almost never felt Annika past 25 weeks or so. She was up high in a weird place and pretty smushed. Try not to worry :hug99:

It seems my boys like to lie transverse and I feel more movements on my right side. Actually. my right side actually appears "bigger" so to speak. Has anyone else experienced this? At last u/s both babies were head down but by the end of the exam, they were back to transverse. I also hear that movements become less obvious as we get further along, since room will start to get scarce soon. As all the other ladies said, call your doc if you are unsure. Good luck and keep us posted!
