not napping

I am having a really hard time dealing with E&E right now. At night they aren't doing to bad but they are refusing to nap since we got rid of the binkys on Sat. Any suggestions?

 

Oh gosh, I don't have any idea what to tell you. I've been toying with the idea of getting rid of paci's, but that's a twist I wouldn't expect to last. I would think they would be past the wanting of the pacis by now.

Have they slept well at night? I guess my only advice is continue putting them to bed for naps, even if they aren't sleeping, they'll get quiet time. Maybe it's a strange coincidence and they'll start back to napping!

My son has gone thru several different phasing of not actually sleeping during nap time, but as long as he is quiet and gets some rest, I don't mind.

The problem is they are not quiet. They are yelling, jumping and very rowdy. Someone help.

 

This is what happened with my guys. they did it a bit before I took the binkies away, but, usually I could get them to lay back downw/binkies and they would sleep. W/o binkies, they just kept each other going. I finally had to seperate them for naps, still do. Otherwise they do not sit still let alone lay down long enough to fall asleep. If you do not have a way to seperate them(Ian naps in my room) what about taking turns and laying them in their room one at a time maybe with a "special" nap time book to look at. When the first one falls asleep, lay the other one down?

 

I may try that. I think Ethan would go to sleep easy if Emma wasn't wired.
