i've been seeing my dr. every week now, so i've been able to see each babies heart beating to calm my mind. also, they are both good size, so i'm not REALLY all that worried (i'm 31 weeks and the babies are 3.8 and 3.11 lbs).

that being said, i can feel one of the twins kicking almost all of the time and hardly EVER feel the other one. does lack of movement in the womb signal anything that i should be worried about? of course, since we opted not to do any blood or amnio testing, i've convinced myself something is wrong already. the one that i feel is head down and the one that i hardly ever feel is breech. even with him/her breech, shouldn't i feel kicks down low?

My doc says it's very normal...do you by chance know where their placentas are? I have one anterior and one posterior, so I have always been able to feel the baby with the posterior placenta better. So that's another possibility.

It's probably nothing to worry about. It's getting crowded in there and there is less room to move. Try drinking orange juice or anything very sweet, that may get him/her moving.

Me too... Josie is my delicate princess (I occasionally feel a gentle tickle) but Libby is my wild child (she is currently jamming in my ribs and I'm only just shy of 20 weeks)

Same here. I freak out ALL the time even though I should know better. Every apt I bring it up to my doc and every time he reassures me. We all know the "risky" situation we are in and I know I will most certainly feel better when my babies are in my arms (of course I have breathing to freak out about then, along with a long list of other panics :p )

Mine were the same way. I love pooh bear and tigger. My dd Lizie kicked and bounced a lot so my sis called her tigger and my ds Levi was quit I hardly felt him move all day so she called him pooh.
I used to get worried also. But everything turned out ok.

I felt my girls very differently as well. The one that was high and breech was really active and moved constantly. She's still like that. ;) The baby that was low and vertex I could pretty much only feel if she had the hiccups.

I don't typically feel baby B as much as A. For some reason, I'm much more sensitive in the bottom of my uterus. Monday, the doctor asked me if I was feeling them move separately and it dawned on me that I really hadn't felt them move much at all that day. He put me next in line for my u/s (I'm inpatient and get 3 a week) and turns out they had both turned transverse, so I was not feeling them in the same way.

Try not to worry, but do definitely let your doc know if you stop feeling one of them move.

I was hardly ever able to tell which baby I was feeling because they do get tangled and it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between a punch and/or a kick.

I could hardly ever feel Baby B move and was always paranoid about it. It must have just been his position, because he's never still now!

I was the same way. I always felt Baby A move, and hardly ever felt Baby B move. I turned into a crazy neurotic preggy woman every night, trying to make sure I could hear two heartbeats with the doppler, but I always did. It was just where they were sitting. Now that the bubs are close to 6 months old, my little boy couldn't be more energetic if he tried! That kid would spend all day in his jumperoo if we let him.
