ok since I've been back at work my mom is having trouble getting Mekaila to eat.....she will hardly eat her baby food even her favorites and she won't even drink much of her bottle and she's become very clingy....Jacob is becoming more pickying and more clingy also......she wil eat a little bit for me.......but not much......and won't finish her bottle either......what can I do?

Short of calling the peditrician, I'd watch diaper counts and try perhaps different techniques. For solids feeding, maybe give her a spoon or something to hold onto.. while you (or your mom) feeds her. Change the temperature of her bottle.. just something to make her try to drink more. I don't know. Good luck!

eta: I would actually probably make an appt. Could be some ear infections happening.

That is completely how my boys were with EVERY tooth! Maybe some teeth are on the way! I also just watched their diaper intake to make sure they had enough fluids.

It could be teeth cause she's only got the two she got at 4 months old and hasn't got anymore since then....heck Jacob's got 4 on top and 2 on the bottom already

Rose has been acting the same way. Only finishes about 1/2 her bottles at times and seems to be a bit more clingy to me. Her upper teeth are about to poke through. I think it affects their appetite as well

I was going to say teeth. You said in another post they are having trouble sleeping too right?

Sounds like teething to me. When my DS went off his food all he did was sleep and sleep and that was because he was ill (it turned out he had an ear infection and pharingitis). I would call your pedi just to be on the safe side. GL & KUP!

Sounds like teething to me too. My daughter did the exact same thing when she cut her first tooth, although she hasn't for the other four that have come in since. Would definitely call the pedi though just to be on the safe side. GL.

For teeth I gave them tylenol every 4 hours starting as soon as they woke up. My daughter also went on a food strike just before she got sick. Hope it turns around for you. The first teeth were the worst.
