so do you ladies find it often times hard to breath and if so what is your remedy? i've tried pushing them down off my diaphram, laying on my side and drinking water but i just feel so out of breath. is there anything i can do?

I carried very high, and had trouble breathing from 5 months plus.

A few things that helped--sitting up perfectly straight, getting on all fours, having someone rub my back to relax me.

I had it, it was awful. What can you do, deliver them lol! That was the only thing that worked. I swear once they came out I could breath again. It was amazing.

I sit leaning forward, lay on my left side, drink water. It is a PITA.

Hi, I am 29 weeks and have felt breathless off and on for about the past four weeks. I have one sitting on my bladder and I swear the other is trying to come through my sternum! Just doing everyday things like laundry make me breathless! So, I drink lots of water and take LOTS of breaks. Which is hard with a two year old running around!

I did this too and was so surprised how much it helped. I think it helped dislodge Jake from my ribs. I pretty much sat around for the last 2 months (until I went into labor at 33wks).

I had a horrbile time breathing when I was pregnant with the twins! I ended up sleeping in a recliner towards the end of my pregnancy.
What also helped was eating very small meals at a time too so, you don't feel so full and bloated.

Take Care & Best Wishes :)

lol! I was going to say the same thing... after they are born, you will be amazed at the depth of breath you can take! Until then, I never really found much to do to help. (But these next several weeks really will fly by!)

I've been in the same boat for a few weeks now. I even called the doc a couple times because I didn't think I was going to catch it. And usually its just like that sitting in a chair. Only thing that helps for me is laying on my side. I had an ultrasound today and had to stop in the middle and sit up to breathe, I thought I might pass out laying on my back.

It works wonders...I went just over 38 weeks, so from like 20 weeks to 38 weeks, and I got breathless randomly. It had nothing to do with physical exertion either. This photo is me on the day I delivered. They had actually dropped some by that point, but you can see. They were really high.

One of the best (and worst things) I remember is how great it felt to deeply inhale, but my diaphragm hurt like he** for a good week or more. But the doctors said try to breath deeply as much as you can after you deliver.

Whenever I've had trouble breathing while pregnant it actually turns out to be that I am low on iron, not just the position of the baby(ies).
