Not a great OB visit and 28 weeks today

First let me say that I went to the Dr. thinking I was going to get yelled at for gaining more weight than I should have. Lately, I have been eating often and a lot! To my surprise I was told that I lost 5 pounds....how can that be?? Nest it was time to take my blood pressure. My pressure, even now, is usually low but today it was elevated. Ok, next she looked at my labs. My 1hr glucose test came back a bit high now I have to go and have the 3hr one done....I am NOT happy! My iron is low which I am already taking shots for my they do not seem to be working and my calcium levels are low.

Oh, lets and to the fun of swollen feet and back aches lets add that Mary is resting very low...LIKE ON MY PELVIC BONE. It causes a lot of discomfort as I am sure some of you know.

So, next week I am going to take my pregnant self and my family to the shore....what am I thinking????

Hugs to you sweetie! Those appts can be frustrating. Maybe the shore won't be such a bad idea...

 

I'm sorry for the not-great appointment. Perhaps the time at the shore can be relaxing (okay...may not be too relaxing with the kiddos but I'll cross my fingers for you).

 

[SIZE=12pt]Well it was nice that you lost some weight! I think that was positive. I'm sorry about the glucose test, let's hope and pray you pass the 3hour one. Sorry your OB visit was not that great. Take care! (Oh yeah, and I remember with the twins, Michael was very low in my pelvis! It hurt a lot! I can empathize!)

I'm sorry you didn't have a good OB visit. Maybe spending some time on the shore will be a good thing - relaxing.
Hopefully things will get better and that you do pass your 3 hour glucose test (drink lots of water).
