i think my kids nostrils are too big for the plastic bulb aspirator. LOL has anyone tried or used the nosefrida before?
Never heard of it until now. It's interesting to say the least. It has good reviews on Amazon. Link
I bought one from Amazon based on all of the great reviews, but so far I haven't been able to bring myself to use it, LOL. For everyday snottiness we just use the Graco nasal aspirator. It doesn't have a lot of suction, but it works okay. I figure whenever our boys get a cold we'll give the Nosefrida a try.
not sure whether to buy it. my LO's are congested during their colds despite saline drops and aspiration with bulb aspirator.
Yes, yes! I have three of them, LOL. Couldn't live without them -- use them daily on all three kids, as my 5-year-old can't blow her nose hard enough to get anything out. It's not gross at all. The little sponge filter keeps anything from getting up into the tube. My email is on Nosefrida's mailing list, and I found out recently that they have a FB page. I'm a little embarrassed to join, however.
Well, I am from Europe and it's very popular in my country. I've used it with my daughter and now I use it with the boys as well. It is a great product! Works much better than the bulb.
Well, my sister uses an aspirator that is attached to the vacuum cleaner :woah: Yes, I did the same face when I've heard. I could see her sucking their brains out. But she sent me a video with them fighting to use that thing and they put it in their noses themselves, they even turn on the vacuum :rotflmbo: Looks like it's safe, but I don't know if I would use it on my boys. I guess I need really stuffy noses to decide. The nosefrida looks interesting and I think I would use this instead of the vacuum). Thanks for bringing this up, cuz I've never heard of this before.
We have them and use them when the boys are stuffy. It was kind of strange the first time, but, I got over it!
