I am 22weeks 3days currently. Starting a few days I noticed that when I go to stand up from sitting down I am starting to feel a little pressure down there. Is that normal for this stage of the pregnancy. My next OB appointment isn't for another two weeks, I didn't want to bother calling if it isn't a big deal.

I had pressure too, remember you've got more than one pushing against all your girl parts and gravity doesn't help much.

If you think it's something to worry about I WOULD call your OB; That's what they are there for! Better to be safe than sorry, I called all the time if I felt like it warranted a call and they either will say come in or that your okay.

i never felt it that early, but i agree with pp. there's so much pushing down there. still, probably not a bad idea to call, especially if you're also having contractions.

I would call..it never meant anything for me...but a friend of mine had just that symptom "pressure down there" with her first dd and found out she was funnelling..which is basically when the cervix is opening up from the inside out... you should be checked out just to make sure it's normal.

    Definitely call if you're concerned.

I felt pressure down low, and it was really reassuring to have the dr. poke around, and discover that it was just our boy (laying low, but not too low).

Is it pressure like you have to have a BM or just like a baby is kicking your cervix?

I have had that since I was about 16 weeks. Dr. said it was just the babies and that it was normal. To me it is worse when I lay in bed as every time I roll over it hurts like crazy.

this is my third preg, but i still don't know how to distinguish pressure. I'm 15wks, and sometimes, esp when i am on my feet for a long time, get an ache in my vahooja, the closest thing i can associate that with is when i am about to get my period, b4 the cramps come.

Is that ok? I don't want to be a worry wart either. so could someone put a another word or two to pressure? is it like you feel they are gonna fall out???
