Hi I'm new here. I am 9 weeks pregnant (with twins of course) I found out when I was 7 weeks. Baby A measured 7 weeks 1 day with a heartrate of 155 and baby b was 7 weeks 4 days heart rate 156. Then five days later they were a 8 weeks 2 days hr 175 and 8 weeks 3 days 165. I thought that 160 was the normal high heart rate for fetuses. I was just wondering if I should be worried about how different they were? Sorry this is my fifth pregnancy having 3 miscarriages. Last one was in August at 9.5 weeks. The heart stopped for no known reason so now I'm really afraid this will happen and it keeps getting worse since I'm going into the time when it stopped with my last. I'm afraid that when I go back at twelve weeks I will have the vanishing twin syndrom have happened.

Don't worry. Baby's hb is changing all the time. All the numbers you mentioned sounds like in the normal range so i wouldn't worry about it. My babies hb were 147, then 167, then 179.

Congrats on your twins!! When i first found out that i was going to be having twins they both were close in size but both ot their heart beats were pretty high I believe baby a was around 170 and the other 182 the ob wasn't worried .. I don't think you should worry sounds like they are doing good to me !!Try to stay as positive as you can and things will be okay:) you came to a great place for support the ladies here have been good support to me

I wouldn't worry about the heart beats. They sound good. My babies HB's are always all over the scale, but I just remember that they have resting and active periods too.

Congratulations and welcome to TS! Depending on the source, fetal heartrates can range anywhere from 110 to 180. My four kids were around 175, 165, 155, and 145 so they were all very different, even the identical twins.
