Have you tried laying down and having them on your belly for tummy time? That way Mommy's face will entertain them while they are laying on their tummies. My kids never liked tummy time either, so we did that.

My kids were never big fans of tummy time. We still did it daily even if it was just 5 min at a time. It did get better when they learned to roll on their own.

 I went through the same thing! I did exactly as pp said. They laid on my belly and sometimes across my legs. Our Ped said that as long as their heads were not laying on something it counted as tummy time. After they were good with laying on us, we put them on the Boppies facing each other. They CRIED, but the Ped told us to let them cry in small intervals and it will get better. So the first day, they did tummy time for 30 secs. Second day, 1 min. Third day 1.5mins. Eventually (and I mean eventually) they got better and would only cry towards the end. I also found a play mat that did pretty good, but they liked it better laying on their backs. You may be able to get them in a Bumbo and that would get them off their heads.

My singleton hated tummy time too and would scream and cry so I didn't put her on her belly much. I think I should have forced it a little bit more. She never did learn to crawl properly. She scooted on her butt.... it was quite funny actually, but I'm sure she would have gotten around alot sooner had I done the tummy time more religiously.

I'm going to be better at it with the twins. Get them used to it right from the start. It's just so hard to let them cry!

My boys like doing tummy time on a big bouncy ball. I hold them and roll them forward and back so they have time to rest and time to lift their heads. It's also best to put them on their tummy after they have had a good nap and are not in the least bit cranky.

My kids all hated tummy time at first too. Just do small increments, even just a minute or two here and there, at a time, and they will get used to it.
