No sleeping problems on vacation

Just a word of reassurance to those of you who are panicking about vacation -- at least at 22 months, it's possible to have no sleep issues at all! We arrived at our rental house yesterday, and the girls were thrilled to explore the new environment. This is the first time they've ever slept anywhere but our house. They were sooooo excited to see their beds (Amy is sleeping in our PNP from home -- Sarah's in a crib that came with the house), they wanted to get into them right away.

When it was bedtime, we did our usual routine, put them in bed and walked out. They laid right down, chatted for 15 minutes, then sacked out for 11 hours as usual. They didn't even freak out when they woke up in an unfamiliar room in the morning.

So, it's probably harder at 2.5 when they can climb out of the PNP.... But for now, it seems to be fine!

    YEAH!

We had 2 family reunions this summer and the same thing...I was so stressed about sleeping, NOT a problem if we stuck to the routine!

YIPPPEEE for sleep! It does make the vacation much mor eenjoyable when no one is crabby!

That's great! I'm sure having them sleep well made everything run much smoother.
