I will be 9 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and I have yet to really get sick. I have had a little nausea here and there, and some food aversions but I have not thrown up. Don't get me wrong, I am not dying to pray to the porcelain god but everything I have read said that people that dont have morning sickness have a higher rate of miscarriage. I am especially concerned because I figured since I am having twins I would be doubly sick. Has anyone else not had any morning sickness???

I had queasiness and food aversions on a daily basis but nothing like what people told me to expect. Try not to focus too much on symptoms, they are not always a good indicator. As long as you're not bleeding and cramping, you're doing ok.

First-congrats on your twins!!! And-secondly-for no morning sickness! I should help calm your fears... :D I am currently 17 weeks 2 days pregnant with twins and NEVER had ANY m/s, nausea, queasiness...NOTHING! And like you, I too thought I would be sick as a dog because it was twins, etc...People thought I was crazy for complaining...but for all it took to get here, I worried. When I told me doctor-she said it was perfectly fine. I think some of that "no m/s is BAD" is a myth. There is no correlation between the two-and I've read that in a study done on it. So-be thankful! My only early symptom was burping! And now I have some heartburn and going to the bathroom. The extent of my symptoms. I don't worry as much anymore due to the u/s's. Congrats! And ENJOY!!! B)

No morning sickness with the twins. Just a little nausea here & there. This pregnancy I was sick all through the first tri-mester.

I didn't have any m/s in the beginning either, it freaked me out because when I miscarried last summer, the only symptom I had was that the m/s mysteriously went away. This time around it didn't start until about 12 weeks and lasted until about 17-18 so you aren't out of the proverbial woods yet anyway.

    Congrats on your twins!!

congrats, I just wanted to say that Ive not had any m/s with this pg. I didnt have any with my first set of twins, until I lost one of them. then I was really sick, which I thought was strange..

I think your totally fine, just means your body is doing well carrying twins...

I didn't have morning sickness, nausea, or food aversions. I carried 39 weeks (and would have gone longer if not for the induction). The babies were born perfectly healthy. Really, the only symptom that bothered me in the first half of the pregnancy was fatigue.

I never had any morning sickness at all and I'm 15 weeks now! My mom said she never had any morning sickness so maybe that's why I never got it.

I was sick daily with my three year old. Now, with the twins, I have only been sick a total of 4 times! Count your blessing that you are not sick. I was very sick with my son. I was unable top keep food down, I would have to go to the er. Plus, you are almost over the ms part too. Be thankful! Kiesha

I had a few food aversions, but never nausea or any sickness. I was SO lucky! I was concerned too b/c I was having twins and thought for sure I would be sicker than a dog. NOPE!!! It was a smooth pregnancy as far as that goes.

Now, my SIL, is pregnant with #2 right now and has hyperemesis for the 2nd time. She is miserable. She now has a med pump in her leg and has home IV's 2 times a week. It's even worse this time for her than the first.

So, if I were you, I would be thankful that you aren't experience m/s....consider yourself LUCKY!

I never had m/s and have been eating like a pig this entire pregnancy. I eat more now than I ever have and I have 65 extra pounds to prove it. Don't worry about not having m/s. You'll experience a lot of things that are different from a singleton pregnancy but m/s is not necessarily one of them.

I had absolutely no morning sickness my whole pregnancy...yes, it was amazing and I was glad! You may be one of the lucky ones to never get morning sickness. I did have terrible heartburn though in my second and third trimester, couldn't get away that easy.

I am another who hardly had anything. I did throw up twice but I don't think it was anything related to m/s. I hardly had any troubles. i had friends who kept saying how their Dr told them it was good to have m/s it meant the baby was healthy.... pfft! Mine are doing just great thank you very much.

I had exactly 3 days of morning/afternoon sickness at around 12 weeks. I found it strange because all the books tell you that's when the sickness goes away!

I didn't have any morning sickness with the twins either. Nothing.

With this singleton I had it pretty much all day for about 6 weeks so it goes to show that every pregnancy is different. :umm:

I never threw up. I just felt a little sick/tired at night sometimes and I could not eat meat either the first 14 or so weeks. My babies are just fine. I never had any morning sickness with my other two pregnancies. So I think you are probably fine.

in weeks 5 and 6 i got nauseus every few days. i have food aversions, but never threw up. i get a little bit nauseus here and there, but nothing big. it just comes when i'm really hungry. my husband was worried about it and made me call my doctor and they told me to consider myself lucky that i'm not sick! so i went with that. yeah, some people say that the sicker you are, the healthier your babies are, but i think that just is said to make those really nauseus moms feel better. because i know women who felt terrific through their pregnancies and their babies are happy and healthy.

Congratulations. I had no moring sickness at all. Didnt even feel queasy. In fact i felt exactly the same through my pregnancy as i did before i was pregnant, only difference was my belly got bigger! They did come 8 weeks early but there was nothing wrong with them they were just a little small. So i wouldnt worry about it i would just be happy not to be throwing up!! x

I had a couple of moments of nausea here and there but for the most part, it's been a morning sickness free pregnancy- much better than my first pregnancy when I was nauseous for about 6 straight weeks! Congratulations on your twins!!

I actually felt better in the first trimester with twins than I did with either of my singletons! My only real "symptom" was HUNGER (I was breastfeeding too!).

I had some queasy moments but no real sickness until about 12 weeks and eventhen it hapened when I let myself get too tired or hungry. My body was going to be sure I listened to what it needed! Good luck, keep up on rest and food!
