    Hello all!

I'm 7.5 weeks pregant with fraternal IVF Twins and have had NO morning sickness. Is anyone else out there who had or has no morning sickness with twins? I thought with twins the symptoms are supposed to be stronger, but for me - not at all. I am not even all that tired. The biggest thing I have is a dull constant crampy feeling in my uterus and the fact that my stomach is way larger than it normally is... and my breasts are a little tender. That's it. This worries me b/c I had a miscarriage a year ago at 7 weeks and had no symptoms either. So I'm hoping to hear that there are others of you farther along than me who also didn't get terrible symptoms!

I didn't start to experience morning sickness until my 8th week and when it started it didn't stop until 15 weeks. Nausea all day, vomiting...no fun. Enjoy the calm before the storm! I am sure all will be fine. I also had a miscarriage around 6 weeks the pregnancy before the twins. Good luck and try not to worry, I know it is hard!

Mine didn't kick in until about 10 weeks and then it was non-stop and awful until 21 weeks. I hope you never have it!

yeah, count me in as one of those very lucky ones that didn't really have morning sickness. There were a couple of mornings that I felt uneasy, but I never did get sick or anything like that. :good: maybe you will be lucky too!

No morning sickness here. I got sick once in my entire preganancy with the girls and that was a gag reflex thing. Good luck.

    Congrats on your pg!

I never had m/s with this pg (my first). I kept waiting for it to kick in but it never really did. Once in awhile if I had an empty stomach I felt kinda icky but that was it!

You may not get m/s!

I never had any morning sickness. My worst symptom was ravenous hunger - I wish I would have a little morning sickness so I wouldn't have gained so much weight!

Thanks you guys are making me feel so much better! I really hope I'm just lucky. Sometimes I think I feel naucious but then I also think maybe it's in my head and I'm feeling that way b/c I SO WANT to feel the symptoms so that I just feel ensured my babies are still there. After having a m/c last year I'm on eggshells with this pregnancy! I soooo want to have these twins! :D

I didn't really get morning sickness either. This was my third pregnancy, two prior singletons. On occasion i would feel a little queezy, but mostly just worn out and tired! Good Luck with hopefully not getting any.

I totally understand how you feel...After dealing with infertility for four years-I wanted EVERY symptom in the book when I got pregnant-let alone with twins! I felt like if I had symptoms, then the pregnancy would be ok, etc...

Well..my boys will be a year old next weekend...and I had ZERO ZERO symptoms!!!! The ONLY thing I had-and is what made me take a test-was I was burping! And the same thing happened this time around.... :)

    Congrats!

    HELLO! Congrats!

Im glad your doing great with little sickness! I was on the other end losing well over 30lbs in my first tri. I know the old wives tale suggest that if your sick the babies are healthier... I say NAH!!!! Look at all the other ladies who had NO sickness and had very healthy babies. We are thinking of you. HUGS! WELCOME!!!!!

I had a m/c before my twins and had NO symptoms at all- ever! It made me very nervous for the first trimester- symptoms would have made me feel a lot better, which sounds weird, but I think you know what I mean.. Good luck and congratulations on your twins!! :)

I was another one that was really concerned about not having m/s and then in my 8th week it came.... and stayed a very long time. :bad: I hope you are one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to go through it.

I think that's just something they tell us pukey pregnant ladies to make us feel better! :rotflmbo:

I went for my first OB visit at 7 weeks 4 days, found out it was twins, and started puking the next morning. It didn't stop until week 16 and has returned on occasion. I hope for you that you'll be one of the lucky ones who doesn't play the "run to the toilet every morning" game. If not, know there is an end in sight!

Good luck and :welcome: to TS.

Never had an ounce of morning sickness only would feel nauseous sometimes when I had to eat. My boys were healthy almost 7 pounders and I carried until my 39th week. Don't worry just enjoy!

Oh, and I also m/c'd 6 months before I got pregnant with the boys so I know what you mean...you should be fine.

I never had morning sickness. Well, there was the week before I found out I was pregnant where I just felt icky, but I was never really nauseous and I was only like 4 weeks pregnant then, so I doubt it was morning sickness. I wouldn't worry about it. Just count yourself lucky!!

I never had any morning sickness (or afternoon or evening for that matter :D ) I was tired but that started around 8 weeks. I carried to 39 weeks with no complications.

I will be 13 weeks tomorrow and have had no morning sickness (knock on wood)! This is my first pregnancy, so I have nothing else to compare it to. I will start to feel sick if I need to eat and don't. That does go away with a snack though! Congrats on your twins and welcome!

At 6 weeks 2 days I was sick as soon as the doc said "I see two sacs" but it shut off like a switch right at 12 weeks. I would *try* not to worry about it as all pg's are different, but I understand it is still going to bother you because of your previous m/c.

I was IVF, too. I kept wondering when I would get the morning sickness, I actually wanted it. Bad!
It came out of nowhere at exactly 6 weeks. It lasted until about 10 weeks.
I never threw up, never even close to throwing up. I just felt a little naseous (sp?) in the morning, which
crackers and ginger ale took care of. I also was only tired for a few days, falling asleep around 8p.m.
    Then, no more tiredness.
Friends who were pregnant with one baby had terrible morning sickness, throwing up, couldn't keep anything down.
I ate EVERYTHING! Eating helped me to feel better. I had cheerios with me at all times. I was expecting big time
morning sickness because of twins. Not so much. I was freaked out when it went away at 10 weeks.

And, I feel you. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks a year and a half before my 2nd IVF.

I had no nausea until about week 16, and then it only lasted for about two weeks. I knew I was pregnant, but didn't feel pregnant at all, so imagine my surprise when I found out at my 12-week ultrasound that I was having twins!

I had almost no morning sickness in the first tri, just a little nausea that didn't start until week 10 or so and I never got sick. I did have the sore breasts and a feeling that my belly was "full" sometimes.

Try not to worry too much about it. Sounds like what you are feeling is totally normal!

I didnt' get morning sickness until around 9 weeks, and it lasted until around 20 weeks. So, be happy that you don't have it yet, and hope you don't get it. It was actually more of an all day sickness too.

I didn't have any morning sickness at all. In fact, I've had more energy and felt better for my twin pregnany than I did for my singleton!

Hi I'm also 7 weeks pregnant with fraternal IVF Twins and no morning sickness. I hope it stays like that, but I hear you on wanting to feel something just so you know that everything is going ok. I just saw my twins on the u/s yesterday and their little hearts just beating away and I already want to see them again just to make sure that everything is fine. My ER was 9/5/08 and my ET was 9/8/08 and got my positive beta on 9/19/08. So you are about a week ahead of me. Good luck in your pregnancy and hope that we both get through this whole thing without much sickness and end up with happy healthy twins.

No MS for me, either. In fact, I had barely any symptoms at all the first trimester besides lack of energy. I was also IVF and worried myself sick about the lack of symptoms, but it was all fine. It will be for you, too!
