It has been awhile since I posted an update on my girls. It is certainly great to be back! I just wanted to share that Chaeli is my thumb sucker since age 6 months and the doctor recommended to find ways to stop it due to her being sickly. It was a bad winter season for us. I searched twinstuff forum and read about the product called thumb guard. We bought it in February but did not have the courage to do it till this month! We were afraid that our quiet, sweet girl will change into something else because she wouldn't be able to thumb suck anymore. I just wanted to inform all of you Moms with thumb suckers that this product really works and she had it on more or less for 22 hours a day (unless my girls help each other to take it off). Hope this message helps somebody in the future!

i too have an avid thumbsucker... but i didn't find thumbguards until he was too old to figure out how to get it off... i sure wish i had gotten it a lot earlier...

to answer someone's question about if they make them for fingers, YES... here is the link for it... http://www.thumbguard.net/english/ourproduct.asp

Wow, that is pretty pricey for a plastic device. We have a thumbsucker (Reagan), she only does it at naptime and bedtime though...or when she's mad.

Did you order a size small? How does that fit? I noticed it said that would work for ages 3-4.

double-or-nothing: Besides a thumb guard, the company also has a finger guard.
RondaJo: Here is the web site http://www.thumbguard.net/
blessedby2: Even if the product indicated 3 years and over, it was a good fit on my girl's thumb who is only 2 1/2 years old. And I did ordered the small size.
