    Anyone else?
    How do you keep sane?
Mine get superwhiney from 1-7pm. We adjusted bedtime earlier.
I have tried to do "quiet time" in replacement of "nap time" but they don't like
staying in their seperate rooms to play.

Ideas other than movies all afternoon???
    (prefer low energy ideas)

I feel for you! Mine gave up naps a few months before their 3rd birthday:( I tried EVERYTHING to keep it going, but they were simply done. It took about 2 months for them to fully adjust and not seem over-tired. Like you, for awhile, we moved up bedtime. I found they did well with one or two tv shows and then we'd read books and/or color. Hang in there!!! It gets better:) I really missed naptime myself once they gave it up...I needed it as much as they did at the time!!

I agree there is definitely a transition period until their bodies completely adjust to getting all their sleep at night. We don't watch movies all afternoon, we do one movie in the afternoon after lunch. Then they are free to get up and begin acting like wild hooligans again! Other activities are playdoh, coloring, reading books.

Oh boy, I feel for you! Mine were done almost a year ago. There's definitely a period of mourning the loss of the nap and adjusting to life without them. Many days (the days I'm wiped) we have "rest time" mid-day when they used to nap and I'll pop in a movie or a favorite show and we'll all chill for a bit. It's not easy mama, but you do adjust :)!
