No interest in food

For the last 2 days my DD has decided she is not hungry. I do not know what is wrong with her. She doesn't cry for food when meal time is approaching and when I give her her bottle she is only taking about 3oz.

Up until yesterday seh took 4 6oz. bottles per day at 8-12-4-8. She has been a wonderful eater and now she is content to just lay there and do nothing. No smiles, no babbling, nothing.

I am worried she is sick, but she has no fever, her stool is normal and she is wetting 6 diapers a day.

Should I call the Dr.? Should I wait and see if this passes? HELP!

 

She has reflux, right? It was right around 2-3 months that my babies started refusing bottles due to the reflux, and didn't stop until we got them on the right meds. I would call the doc. :hug99:

 

I would definitely make an appt to have her seen if her amounts have decreased significantly. Also if she has reflux I would see about meds just like Becky said.

 

Definitely sounds like something's up - I'd call the dr. Hope everything gets worked out soon.

 

Yep, I agree. Definitely a call to the doctor. We had issues like this. Once it was reflux and another time it was an ear infection (no other symptoms).

 

if it has gone on for a couple days, definately call the doc. My girls just took turns with a 2 day refusal to eat pattern. They seemed fine otherwise. I don't know if they had tummy aches or just not hungry. But they started eating normal again after two days. If it would have cont, I would have taken them in.

Today we had our moms of multiples Halloween Party and she ate like a cow. 22oz. It doesn't sound like much, but with all the cereal in there I am happy with that. She started smiling again too. I think maybe she was just having a bad couple of days.
