No, I'm A Baby, Not A Toddler!?!?!?

I switched my twins from formula to whole milk last week, at it seemed to go okay at first. But the last couple days, DS is now refusing his bottle. He'll only drink it IF we hand feed it to him. He aboslutely refuses a sippy, so I'm taking one thing at a time. DD is a trooper - milk, sippy, sleep normally, happy baby. DS - OMG. It's like he turned one, and he's terrified of becoming a toddler! He's throwing tantrums, screams all night, wants to be held all the time (especially at night). He cut a tooth a couple days ago, but I don't know what else could have changed my perfect little boy into pyscho baby! He was good to go for the first couple days, but now is just wanting to go backwards. I haven't given him formula since switching him, but let me tell you - it is SO tempting at 3am after being up for 2 hours with him. Please tell me this is a phase.... He has his 1yr check-up tomorrow, but I'm guessing the doc won't have much to say about it.

Poor guy - and poor mommy :( The teething could definitely cause the general discontent! I hope he feels better soon!

We went through a very clingy phase at 1 yr. It'll pass, but he might not be feeling well or something. Glad you have an appt. tomorrow! That might help, but it might just be a phase!! I hope it goes quickly!!

I agree with Diane, it's likely a phase. Hopefully it will pass quickly.

This scares me  We just started the whole milk switch today. Dropped a bottle and added to sippies of milk. I hope it just a phase and you get some sleep tonight!

It is probably a phase. Wait till he ralizes how much more a toddler can do then a baby. :)

Of course, my Brooke still claims to be a baby on occation. LOL
