One of my guys is a tummy sleeper and he leaks almost every night. He sleeps through the night, so it's about 11 hours of pee in a diaper and I can't seem to find a diaper that will hold it all. We didn't have this problem when he slept on his back. It's only recently started to be a problem. Does anyone have recommendations on what brand of diapers to use at night for boys?

I had the same issue when they started sleeping on their tummies. I first went up a size in diapers and that worked for a bit. Then when they got bigger I switched to Huggies Overnites and they work like a charm. I am sure you are doing this but make sure you point the penis down when putting on the diaper at night. Seems to keep things aimed in the right direction :D

11 hrs! You are so lucky!!
I just use pampers baby dry but they are usually only in them for 9 hrs the most. I have found that they will seep through though.

I haven't had any leaking issues since I started using Huggies Overnites one size larger than their normal diapers.

I'm with you! And Huggies Overnights aren't available in Canada. The only thing that can contain my boys for 12 hours at night are a brand of cloth diaper called Sandy's (with a good cover). I originally preferred to use disposables at night, but I just can't seem to avoid leaks, which means changing diapers, pajamas and sleep sacs in the middle of the night, not to mention trying to get both babies back to sleep.

There is a product called Diaper Doublers, which is a liner similar to a maxi pad. It's great for nighttime, especially for little boys. I used them 27 years ago for my son, and now my daughter uses them every night for her twin boys. It's a great product but very hard to find for some reason. I read that Albertson's and Babies R Us carry them but I've never seen them in either stores. I order them online, the link is below. They cost about $.22 per doubler. Depending on how snug your current diaper size is, you might want to go up a size to allow for the doubler. Just position the liner at the front of the diaper where your little guy gets the wettest.

I believe these are also available at www.diapersite.com.

Edited to add -- If you do an online search for diaper doublers, make sure you're looking at disposable liners. Many cloth diaper sites offer a cloth version of the doubler.

when mine started leaking it usually meant they were ready to go up a size (even if the weight didn't reflect it - they've been in size 4 diapers for months now and we have no leaks...even though NEITHER of them is 22 lbs)
