I have a two year old grand nephew that frequents our home, I keep a few guns around but the one on the nightstand needs to be toddler proofed. Looks like most small nightstand safes are fingerprint activated. Do they work?
has anyone switched to a weapon-mounted light on their nightstand gun lately? I keep hearing mixed opinions on whether it’s overkill or a smart move. Also curious how folks are storing their setup—quick-access safe, hidden holster, drawer? Always looking for practical ideas that fit real-life use.
Mine lives on a rattan sideboard right by the bed — easy to reach but not obviously a gun spot if someone comes by. It blends right in with the other stuff on top like a lamp and some books. For me, the G19 with a TLR-7 stays chambered and holstered, just in case. Keeps things low-key but ready.
