    Hi ladies
after I feed my babies during the am hours .. when I am done it takes them forever to get settled down in there cribs . I feel like by the time I settle them down and its about an hour left to there next feedings..

does anyone have this problem? if so, what do you do?

Do you keep it as dark as possible in the room when you are doing the feedings? I always found that if I could keep little to no light on, that it didn't stimulate them and they would usually go back to sleep sooner after.

Emma slept in her swing for the first 3 months for this very reason! My advice is to do whatever works right now! Swings, vibrating bouncies, sleeping with you, etc! :hug99: Hope you get some sleep!

Oh honey... I feel ya, I've BTDT. I hate to tell you that this is a REALLY hard time in the FY. But I promise, even though it's hard to see it now, it does get better. My only advice to you is to get as much sleep during the day, when they are sleeping. All the housework, laundry, etc. can wait. Like PP's have said try to make nite time feedings as boring as possible for your little ones, only nite lite, no talking. Then right back down to sleep. Try not to get too stressed (easier said than done), the babies can feel if your stressed and will react. Please know, we're all here for you. Vent anytime you need to. :hug99:

i do keep it dark and uneventful.. I just dont understand how you can put them down during the day and not a peep. but at night its a different story.

Oh, such a hard time with the little ones now!!! I remember wondering if it would ever end. Like others said, catch up on sleep a bit when you can during the day. What helped me in the beginning were a few things - I only used the nursery for sleeping and changing diapers. No playtime at all in there, so when they were in their crib, they knew it was for sleeping. We had them sleep in the crib at night since they were born so they were used to crib = sleep. I nurse them using the EZ pillow on the couch and I would nurse them, get comfy with pillows, and fall asleep with them. We would all fall asleep and by the time I woke up, they would be in a deep sleep and I could move them back to the crib without any disturbance, and just crawl back into bed for a bit until the next session. Hang in there, it does get better. :hug99: This is like baby Marine boot camp and you are only stronger for going through it!!
