My big girl - at 14.5 pounds - is waking every morning soaked! She's in the Pampers Swaddlers Size 2 and they are not holding all the pee in at night since she's now been sleeping about 12 hours straight thru. Do I need to put her in a Size 3 at night?? Will that work? Do they make Overnight Diapers like they make Overnight maxi pads for women??!!

The poor thing still wakes up happy and smiling and doesn't seem the least bothered by the wetness. I could certainly do with less laundry and I don't want her getting diaper rash.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I was in size three ahead of schedule too. It helped. Now I think I'm going to have to move up to size 5 at night! The best no-leak diaper I know for night is a cloth diaper called Sandy's - AMAZING. It can hold 15 oz!! But when Evan has a diaper rash I use disposables.

This may sound crazy but the best nighttime diaper I have found is LUVS. They work perfect. No peepee every soaks through them. The huggies, pampers swaddlers or pampers baby dry did not work for overnight, but the luvs do.

    Hope this helps,
    Missy

My girls' are nowhere near the "recommended weights" on the diapers -- we have them in Pampers Cruisers Size 3, and I bet they are about 14 pounds (I don't have a scale and they were just almost 13 pounds at their 4 month visit). They always seem to leak sooner than the weights, so we just up them to the next size. It's been that way since they were born.

    HTH.

I have started using Huggies overnights. The smallest size they come in is Size 3 but that seems to work fit my DS who is 13 lbs. and 14oz. If he wakes and eats around 1-2am and we change him he still wets through these by morning. I am out of answers on this one.

    Thanks,
    Amy

I put Beau in a size 2-3 pampers swaddler at night and he never leaks. I used a 3 a coupld ot times but the 2-3 are just right...Savannah was in a size 2 but i wondered if a 2-3 would not help stop the leaks and tried it last night and yeppers, no wet babies this am. ;) During the day they can both wear 2's and Beau can wear 2-3 with no problesm, Savannah moves her legs to much for a 2-3 during the day they get toooo big on her. ;)

We do Huggies Overnites and go up a size at night. They work great for us.
