Night sweats

I am nearly 34 weeks and for the last few weeks I have had the most terrible night sweats! It happens when I nap too. I will completely turn the heat off and my poor DH who normally runs hot, practically freezes to death. I mean dripping sweaty, it is so gross. Anyone else? Why is this happening?

 

I was a furnace while pregnant and breastfeeding. I think it's pretty common with the increased metabolism and the hormones. But, as with everything mention it to your care provider; that's what they're there for!

 

Yes, I'm nursing my 1 year old and am still a furnace. 2 days ago my DH was wearing a coat as it was 35 degrees and asked me if I was cold- I was coat less and wearing flip flops.

 

I too was a furnace during my pregnancy! ! Id lay there in bra and panties sweating on the couch and my DH (no joke) was in a fleece, sweatpants, socks, slipper, and a tabaggon ... It was the dead of summer I had the AC at 68 and had fans going to get it cooler. Night was even worse, id wake up drenched. It's hormonal and you'll do it too if you breast feed.

I had them at night with my singleton. I honestly don't remember if I did with the twins. With my single baby, I literally woke up in the middle of the night and thought the ceiling was leaking, I was that soaked with sweat! It was so, so gross. It didn't stop completely until I stopped breastfeeding, but it wasn't quite as bad after I gave birth.

 

I am 29 weeks and have been havong horrible noght sweats especially if I dream! It also seems as each week is passing it is getting worse.
