Night owl or morning person

I have one of each. Carlie is as happy as a clam in the morning. All full of smiles, talking, ready to go and play! By 7pm though, she is crusty and alot less tolerable about things.

Claire is the COMPLETE opposite. She is not a morning person at all. Very whiney in the morning. She is like, "Don't mess with me til after my first nap." After their morning nap she is much better. She could stay up and party though!! She is very ornery at night...she could go all night I think.

Both of mine are morning people - but they get that from me, I'm a total morning person and just exhausted and cranky at night! I am in bed by 9 pm every night! 10 pm is late for me!

 

Mine are both morning babies. They get tired and cranky at the same time every night as if to say, "I'm done. Put me to bed!"

 

Both are morning babies, which is why they wake up at 5am! By 6pm, they are cranky and ready for bed! I'm a morning person. I'm usually asleep by 9pm.

 

Ana is the first one up every morning. She hangs in her crib and talks to Meara until she wakes up. Then at night Meara talks to sleepy Ana until they fall asleep. We don't know where Ana comes from- DH and I are NOT morning people!

 

My girls are morning babies as well. They are fussy from 5-8Pm every night as they wind down for bedtime. The mornings come and they are happy sweet angels

 

Good question. Natalie is a morning person. She always gets up early to play and has to be in bed by 730 or she falls apart. Nathan is the opposite. He likes to stay up till 10 or 11 when I go to sleep and wakes up at 9am if I let him. I always thought Nathan was weird for staying up so late.

 

I have mid-morning babies. They're at their best after the 9AM feeding. 6-8 at night is the worst for us.

Both are happy little monkey's in the mornings and by 7pm WATCH OUT! Not so fun to be around...time for bath, bottle and bed!

 

I also have one of each.......they are making it tough for me to go to work the next morning. =@

Katelyn gets fussy if she's not asleep by no later than 8:30/9:00pm and wakes up at 5am - ARGGHHH!!! I try putting her to sleep a bit closer to 10pm so she can sleep in longer but she just cries because she wants to go to bed.

Madelyn wants to party until midnight so I have to fight to keep put her to sleep at 10pm but she'll sleep in until 8 or 9am the next morning.

It's so difficult to get a good 8 hours of sleep when both my girls are such opposite schedules. My DH tries to help but he gets up at 4am to be at work by 5am. :nea:

I'm really trying to get Katelyn to sleep a little longer - once she wakes up at 5am she wants a bottle, watches the Disney channel and then goes back to sleep for about a 1 to 2 hour nap. This is the one thing I have not been able to fix. (Just like a Mommy to want to "fix" everything, huh? LOL!)

 

Both of mine are morning babies, pretty happy for the most part in the morning, and by 530pm they are crusty and ready for bed. The bad part is that their day starts usually at about 6am! And, if they sleep in I get until 630am!
